NOW, on this 5th day of July 2013, upon the timely application of Defendants, by and through their attorney, Michael L. North, Assistant County Counselor, pursuant to the authority vested in the Clerk of the Court by Kansas Supreme Court Rule 113, the initial time to plead to the petition in this action is hereby extended fourteen (14) additional days from July 15, 2013 to July 29, 2013.  All Defendants were served on July 24th, 2013. 

The legal profession seems to be in love with flowery language.  Well, I suppose I can’t blame them.  It is what they devote their thoughts to constantly.

I guess I’ll be taking the 29th off to go to court.
